Hey, I'm Maggie!

Maggie’s work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. She was a devoted caregiver and advocate for her son with special needs for 16 years, supported her mother through a degenerative illness, and now helps care for her 93-year-old father alongside her siblings from afar. She has also guided extended family through difficult transitions, including moves into care communities and sudden loss.

These experiences give her a deep understanding of the emotional complexity families face—especially those in the “sandwich generation.” She knows that decisions about assisted living, hospice, and higher levels of care are never purely logistical; they carry layers of grief, responsibility, and uncertainty.

As an educator and grief support facilitator, Maggie replaces fear and misinformation with clarity. She helps families understand aging, hospice, and advance planning before crisis forces rushed decisions. A key part of her work includes advance directives for both older and young adults, ensuring families have clear documentation in place before it’s urgently needed.

Above all, Maggie brings compassionate listening and steady guidance so families feel informed, supported, and confident as they move forward.

When she’s not working, she enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends.
